Edited by: Randuin MaraL on 30/07/2004 13:15:22 Some 22 pages back you find more information about the recent RP summits held in EVE channel.
Do you wish for a 5th one end of august/begin of september or have the other 4 ones covered all that was needed to talk about?

Oh no... you're gonna make me wake up that early? bah I'll be there hopefully.... right after I kick some Randuin around
To make it even more interesting, I think of making it an "around sunday downtime meeting". ____________________________________________________

Edited by: Randuin MaraL on 11/08/2004 08:19:19 To prepare an agenda for the 5th summit I would like to receive some topics and ideas from your side.
My topics will be:
- freed slaves, homeless, drugs ... what to do with them? (status and ideas) - "navy careers" (rising in) ranks for players in NPC corporations (possibilities/dangers) - a sticky for this one to help new RP seeking players finding their way ____________________________________________________

Surely, such a thing only breaks immersion
'lo Orestes. This summit is not about to split RP-players from non-RP-players, a distinction that is IMHO almost impossible to make. 'tis all about the improvement of RP aspects in the game. And roleplay is one way of immersion For myself, the integration of new, RP interested, players is very important (as I do not ignore the commercial aspect neither). Does this summit give the impression "we" are looking for splitting the community? ____________________________________________________

Previous logs I've read pretty much give that impression, yes.
This was not intended. Thank you for the hint.

The logs are hard to read, though. Perhaps you can try to parse them in the way Evegate does?
I will see what can be done. ____________________________________________________

A date/time has been found for the 5th summit:
Sunday, 5th of september 2004, after official downtime (to allow those to join who could never make it in the evening, thus "not negotiable" - get up early! )

So do we, so don't do it again.
'lo Wrangler. As this is an announcement for a summit between players and ISD and as it is not worth a sticky, what can I do? Letting day and time be announced 15 minutes before it starts, or let it get buried by the dozen posts and have noone show up?
edited: Well, but maybe I put too much into this. At least these summits are time consuming and to be honest, I see no improvement yet for RP aspects (beside of ISD Auroras good work with events).
edited2: Have a read here
